Accomodations

Otherworld Adventure Weekends are hosted at a 350-acre summer camp in Pomfret, Connecticut, in the northeastern corner of the state. (Directions are mailed to all registered participants.) The camp, which once a year is transformed into the storybook village of World's Edge, has miles of trails leading through the woods and three large lakes, one of which has a waterfall spilling off it. It's particularly pretty in the autumn, when the foliage is changing color.

Parties of participants (say that ten times fast) are lodged in rustic wooden cabins situated around the camp. The cabins aren't deluxe, but they are atmospheric, and most people love going to sleep listening to the brook and the wind in the trees.

Otherworld provides all meals during the weekend, starting with snacks on Friday night and ending with lunch on Sunday. All the food we serve is home-made and delicious. There are vegetarian options at every meal and we can accommodate most special dietary needs with advance notice.
